Time to face the truth: if the American dream turned into a nightmare, how did that happen and whose fault is it?

Answer: ours!

Why are we in this predicament?

- Because we don't know when to quit! we keep doing the same things over and over again and are surprised that things don't get better
- Because we ignore the obvious warning signs
- Because we are reactionary
- Because we focus on shallow news
- Because we forget to focus on the essential points and what matter to the American citizens

Tune in to hear Malcolm's take on what we can do. Time to take responsibility for our future!

How The American Dream Turned into a Nightmare

Malcolm brings to us an enlightening discussion on how the foundation of American prosperity and freedom got perverted from the inside, by no one else than us!

We expose the perils of outsourcing. When our own economy is crashing, why send jobs elsewhere? while the global economy has changed, shouldn't we make more of an effort to grow jobs here?

President Obama speaks on our response to terrorist threats

Was the problem really that we "failed to connect the dots?" looks like we have " Too much intelligence, not enough sense". Read this article by Eugene Robinson  Too Much Intelligence, Not Enough Common Sense
www.TruthDig.com.

US employment is at 10% and rising. Here is an important question: When is outsourcing ok?

  • If we get things at a lower cost?
  • If the company is failing to be profitable?
  • Does the spirit of capitalism gives them right to do what they want?

Malcolm engages in a discussion about the flaws of capitalism and what American people can do. Thanks to loyal listeners George and Brandon for their input on our live show.

Read this message titled "Solutions". Well worth the read. here's an excerpt:

This came from a chain letter, but this is the exact reform that Americans should not SEEK, but should MANDATE. The number one problem is Congress and the current statism of these representatives. Serving in Congress was an honor, a service NOT a career path and definitely NOT as lucrative as the current Congressional positions.

1. Term Limits: 12 years only, one of the possible options below.

TSA Salutes a 'Very Good Year' Despite 2009 Security Failures - THAT'S A BOBBLEHEAD!
In an end-of-the-year message sent after a year of harsh criticism and hours before a man with a bomb sailed through airport security and flew to the United States, the acting administrator of the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) boasted of the agency's "very good year" and cited "cutting edge" technological advancements and efforts by federal air marshals that were "keeping the skies safe."

The message made no mention of TSA snafus over 2009, including several highly critical reports by the inspector general for the Department of Homeland Security and the inadvertent posting on the internet of confidential documents revealing airport security procedures. Read Full TSA Message

Is the only way to get legislation passed to "buy it"? let's see if this can be applied to healthcare reform...  ps: the answer is yes

The Healthcare Reform Senate Bill was passed on Christmas Eve with 60 to 39 votes. Malcolm exposes some of the pork projects, gifts and other compromises in this bill that were used to secure votes.read more:

Among the "hundreds of deals cut so health care legislation can stay alive," The Associated Press reported Monday:
"-- Sen. Mary Landrieu, D-La., got $100 million more for her state's Medicaid program before announcing her support.
"-- Vermont independent Sen. Bernie Sanders didn't get Medicare-for-all, but he successfully pushed a $10 billion increase for community health centers," and
"-- Sen. Ben Nelson, D-Neb., the crucial 60th vote for the bill, won a slew of concessions for his state." Health care deal looks a lot like a bribe

“America's overused credit card, issued by the Bank of China, may have to be used one more time to pay for Reid's deals. The majority leader traded to help ensure the votes of Sens. Ben Nelson, Mary Landrieu, Chris Dodd, Bernie Sanders and others representing 11 states by giving them special perks for staying on the health care bus that's about to drive us all over the financial cliff.  They may argue they weren’t bribed, but they certainly were rewarded.  The price was enormous.” – “Harry Reid Playing Santa With Your Money,” CNN column, December 23, 2009

The political game is so crazy and removed from common sense it migth as well be just like playing a board game. Look what we found:
